Be Browning, Be Safe
For Browning safety isn’t just a week, it is one of our core values. We ask each of our employees to “Be Browning, Be Safe” by providing accident-free jobsites and inclusive environments.
Although Brad Warn is our Director of Safety & Field Operations, safety is not just one person’s responsibility, it is at the heart of our approach to a project and is front and center when on our construction sites.
We are committed to ensuring a safe environment for everyone stepping on to our jobsite and that starts with our staff. Browning’s Field Superintendents are OHSA 30 hour certified, our Project Managers are OSHA 10 hour certified, and all are trained in First Aid and CPR.
Because Browning does not self-perform, our safety program starts during the bidding phase when evaluating the responsiveness of a bidder. Once awarded the contract, a subcontractor is not allowed on site until they have submitted an approved safety plan and job specific safety plan. We are grateful to have partners and subcontractors who show up to jobsites and take safety as seriously as we do.
Our field team’s daily safety responsibilities are supported with routine site visits to review the overall job site safety and safety measures being implemented. Browning also enlists the services of Safety Management Group to perform weekly, independent safety inspections to ensure compliance with safety procedures.
Browning is committed to ensuring our job sites are safe and inclusive environments so everyone working with us goes home safely to their family every night.
