Girl Scouts of Central Indiana Headquarters

Browning was engaged as the construction manager for the new 32,257 square foot headquarters for the Girl Scouts of Central Indiana in the heavily wooded Camp Dellwood on the west side of Indianapolis.  The exterior façade includes, brick, glass and metal and cement board siding designed to fit into the natural wooded site.

The two story building houses the administrative offices for the Girl Scouts of Central Indiana, but it has a generous space designed for public leadership and training events supported by the Girl Scouts as well as a dedicated space for the annual Girl Scout cookie distribution operations. The building incorporates natural lighting to the interior spaces utilizing glass walls and supports the Girl Scout’s objectives with a large public lounge and fireplace, designated area for cookie storage and processing, learning labs, continuing education learning center, and kids recreation area.  The headquarters also has adjoining conference rooms with operable partitions that allows the space to be right-sized or host multiple events simultaneously.

Browning was honored to be part of constructing the facility where young women will be able to attend leadership conferences to further their knowledge and talents to market themselves in today’s business world.
